One Button Studio: How To

Reserve a Studio

1. To to Mears Library website

2. Click on "Reserve A Space"

3. Select a time in either studio A or B. Green spaces are open and Red spaces are booked.

4. When you select a time the spaces turn Yellow. The yellow blocks are the times you are automatically given. Change the length of the reservation by clicking the bar at the bottom of the page and adjust the time.

5. Click "Submit Times"

6. Enter your MYUSF user id and password

7. Click on "Submit my Booking"

8. Click on Logout when finished.

Record a Video

1. You will need a USB3 flash drive

2. Reserve a studio from the Mears Library Website.

3. When it’s time for your reservation, come to the library front desk and get a key to the studio.

4. In the studio, insert flash drive in the red USB port on the One Button Studio console.

5. On the One Button Studio console, you can select background or watch a demo.

6. After selecting a background, stand near the screen and when ready, tap the red button on the floor with your foot.
7. Record your video.

8. When finished, stop recording by tapping the red button on the floor again.

9. The OBS will save the video to the flash drive automatically.  Press PLAY LAST RECORDING to review it.

10. To record again, follow steps 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

When satisfied with the video, remove the flash drive and take the key back to the front desk of the library

Save video to One Drive

1. When finished recording move the USB3 to the blue slot to the left

2. Open Safari and search for "One Drive". 

3. Log in to One Drive with your USF user id and password

4. In One Drive select "Upload" and then click on "Files"

5. Once it's uploaded, share it with your own email.

6. Before removing USB3 from the blue slot, go back into files and select this icon: 

7. Once the folder disappears, you are safe to remove it and leave.
